We strive to bring you a wealth of Hmong culture, music and services through the engagement of radio communication. We hope to offer our audience with exclusive content with engaging hosts, discussing current issues and ideas. Services we promote are to encourage the interchanging and ever growing resources of our Hmong community in the Minnesota Twin Cities area.
History of KFXN Radio
On July 21, 2010, former owner Clear Channel Communications announced it would donate the station through the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council (MMTC)-Clear Channel Ownership Diversity Initiative. In September 2011, the station switched to an ethnic-based format catering to the local Hmong-American community. In 2014, Kong Sue Xiong purchased and licensed KFXN radio and has decided to take upon the Hmong-focused project. He strives to continue the communication and the exchanging of information that can enrich the Minnesota Twin Cities area.

Hmong Community Enrichment
Originally built on the charity to encourage ethnic awareness in the Twin Cities area, we continue to broadcast information and resources that can serve the Hmong community. We offer educational programs to enhance our listener’s livelihood, while also encouraging modern beliefs/ideas to boost personal wellness. We are passionate about bringing Hmong specific entertainment to our Twin Cities listeners and local community.

Many professional and accredited services that are advertised and promoted on KFXN Radio can vary. We believe that bringing our listeners resources that can better their lives, is a wonderful opportunity to promote connection and engagement of our community.
